For as long as I can remember, I have been the architect behind our family's memorable vacations, crafting each trip with a blend of love and strategy to ensure they surpass every expectation. This role, initially born from a desire to lighten my family's load, unwittingly honed my skills in travel planning. But it was not until 2021 that a new horizon emerged for these abilities.
In the wake of COVID-19, as the world cautiously reopened, the travel industry witnessed an unprecedented surge. People, eager to break free from the confines of lockdown, unleashed a tidal wave of demand for leisure travel. This boom, however, came with its challenges. Hotels, overwhelmed by the sudden influx, grappled with overbookings, cancellations, and skyrocketing prices. The once simple joy of planning a getaway morphed into a labyrinth of research, deal-hunting, and the frustrating quest for availability.
It was amid this chaos that I recognized a golden opportunity. In an era where travel had become a source of stress rather than solace, I saw a chance to extend the same care and ease I provided my family to others. I envisioned a service that not only lifts the burden of planning from travelers' shoulders but also crafts experiences so enriching and seamless that they would far outshine anything a traveler could arrange independently.

Wallis' journey to New York City in September 2021, her first-ever visit to the Big Apple, presented me with a unique opportunity to craft an unforgettable experience. I recommended The Times Square EDITION for her stay, and my goal was to elevate her experience from wonderful to extraordinary.
Suite Upgrade with a View: Understanding the importance of a first impression, I coordinated with the hotel's room controller and front office manager to secure an upgrade for Wallis. She was upgraded to the Premier Balcony Suite. This suite is renowned for its breathtaking floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a panoramic view of the vibrant Times Square, and boasts an expansive balcony, a coveted feature among Times Square accommodations.
Personal Touches: To add a personal touch, I penned a handwritten thank-you note, a gesture extended to all our clients, to welcome Wallis to New York City. This small act of kindness set the tone for a warm and personalized stay.
Gourmet Surprise: To further enhance her experience, I collaborated with the hotel's head chef to prepare a special treat — "The Celebration," a freshly baked, decadent chocolate cake, paired with a fine bottle of Cabernet. This gourmet surprise was designed to add an extra layer of luxury and indulgence to her stay.
Pet-Friendly Perks: Recognizing that pets are part of the family, and knowing Wallis was bringing her dog, I ensured her furry companion was also treated to luxury. I arranged complimentary pet amenities, including a plush dog bed, bowls, and an assortment of treats, ensuring comfort for her pet throughout the stay.
This case study exemplifies my commitment to not just meeting but exceeding my clients' expectations, tailoring each aspect of their travel to create a seamless and memorable experience.
